Cruising Authority has been quite the journey!

Why did I start this talkshow? First of all, I love to talk about the cruise industry, and talk with those who are involved with the cruise industry. If you've never been on a cruise...I like to talk with you too! It all started when a buddy of mine from college invited me to be a guest on his talkshow. I enjoyed the interview, and thought to myself, hey, I can do that. It wasn't long before I began to experiment with some interviews. My first interview was with a long-time friend of mine who I helped get a job working on the ships. Then I just started to ask people I knew about online who might be interesting to talk with. The show kind of snowballed as I began to interview more and more prominent guests like Mr. John Maxtone-Graham, who wrote a number of classic ocean liner books like The Only Way To Cross, or Carol Marlow, President of Cunard Line. I enjoy creating websites, so I also created a site for the new Cruising Authority Talkshow. All the bits and pieces just began to come together as if I were falling into a very comfortabel niche doing what I love to do. Of course there was and is a technical learning curve that I continue to fine-tune. This Cruising Authority talkshow has also opened a lot of doors for further growth and advancement within the cruise industry. I produced a five-show series that I'm very proud of called the Virtual Cruise Experience aboard the Liberty of the Seas. Later this month, August 28th, my wife and I will be flying to New York for a special three-night media cruise aboard the brand new Eurodam, Holland America Line's first Signature-Class vessel. Oh, and I forgot to mention that our Cruising Authority audience continues to grow beyond my expectations. This really has been a fun journey so far, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve for further expansion, and exciting guests. I hope you'll all stay tuned-in to our show.
